THE Newly appointed national karate coach Ruslan Adamov is already focusing on the 10th All Africa Games set for September in Maputo, Mozambique.
The Russian signed a two-year contract over the weekend and his first assignment is next month's Kenya Karate Open which is expected to feature teams from Germany, Australia, Luxembourg and Italy among others.
According to the technical director of the national karate federation Guy Didier Rurangayire, the Kenyan Open together with a few other local and regional tournaments will help Adamov pick the best possible squad for the Games.
